The artsy screw-up

One of the nice things about programs like Photoshop is that when you take a picture and screw it up, you can play with it a bit and make it look as if you meant to do what you had no intention of doing.
Like this picture. All the shots I took were awful, but this stood out as a particularly inept effort. It was blurred all to hell and looked as if I was half in the bag and weaving as I took it.
Which I was not. I was just incompetent.
But now it looks as if I was exploring my artistic sensibility. As if I was trying to evoke an abstraction of the dining experience in a colourful evocation of … of … well, something.
And that’s all I have to say about that.

Oh, the food was excellent. Thanks to Joanne, who did the work. Excuse the sexist nature of the comment, but one of the advantages of having a number of female friends is good food.
