Feeling pleased with myself - Pakistan earthquake again

On Saturday, I put up the post Disasters: meanwhile, in Pakistan … The problem with the post was that I had yet to actually donate anything myself. So I felt a little as if I was full of shit. But there was a reason I hadn’t - I had to be on the corporate network in order to access the company Intranet site.
Why, you ask? (Okay, maybe you didn’t ask.) Because the company I work for will match what I donate. So every dollar becomes two dollars. Better still, the Canadian government is matching private donations, so the two dollars now become four.
And that’s why I’m feeling pleased. For each dollar I donated, four goes to relief efforts.
Now if only I could work it so my bank account operated the same way …
