I need a change
October 24th, 2005 by Bill
Yes, I do. I have needed a change for quite some time. What sort of change? Well, a change of:
- location
- work
- life
The whole kit ‘n’ caboodle, a they say. (What exactly is a “caboodle?” Apparently it’s a, “bunch: any collection in its entirety.”)
Well, that’s today’s musing. Perhaps it’s a notion that will pass. Perhaps it will be resolved by a vacation. And perhaps … well, stranger things have happened. (And perhaps it will be dealt with if I simply get off my ass and shave, an activity I find a pain in the bum.)
Yes, this is one of those posts that’s not really about anything, although in truth it is, and is composed and posted from the compulsion to write something, anything, as long as it requires the act of writing. (In my head, that makes sense.)

maybe if you shave, it will launch a “whole new you” campaign?
just a thought. sometimes the littlest acts create the biggest momentum.
Invest in a couple of sex toys* and take a trip, completely alone, to visit bloggers you’ve never met in San Diego. That started a snowball effect of change in my life.
*The sex toys may not have had anything to do with it, but they made the transition to being single a little bit easier.
The shaving thing is because I work from home these days so I don’t necessarily see people during the day - so there’s no need to shave, except I think I’m starting to get strange. (Starting?)
