Is this a haiku?

I’m not sure this is an actual haiku. It seems what constitutes one often depends on who you speak to. However, I seem to be in a mood to write this kind of thing so I submit this pretender to haikudom:

An idiot calls.
“Who are you?” Such a question.
Drunk, we’re revealed.

(Inspired by some fools running amok outside tonight.)

    kris & lushy - You know, I had a feeling there was something familiar about those voices …

    mac - yes, and mine was not 5-7-5. But then, they don’t always have to be 5-7-5. And if it was REALLY traditional, Japanese haiku (or hokku), well then it’s even more wrong. But in poetry, sometimes wrong is right. :-)
