Here’s the subject line of some spam that was in my Inbox:
“Where there is love, there is pain”
What the hell are these clowns selling? Viagra? Pecker extenders? A dating service? If so, that’s kind of a weak pitch, wouldn’t you say?
I didn’t open it - I just deleted the thing. But after I did I started wondering, “What in the world could they have been trying to pitch?”
In a later age they will look back on our once great western civilization and speculate on why we crumbled into dust. And they will study spam and its subject lines and wonder, “Shared lunacy?”
