I’m back at work this week

I returned to work this week. That’s the only explanation I have for this post’s accompanying picture. Although I’m only a few days into it, on the whole I think I prefer vacation. I’ve just never cared for work.

My last vacation day was spent in a friend’s backyard. We encountered an itinerant cat who made herself at home. And although there were some similarities, that freeloading bum was not Gonzo.

I can only assume the freeloader was responsible for the bad end this small mouse came to.

And my bad end was the vacation’s end. And this evening the rain is falling. The planet weeps for me. (Insert great and moving sigh.)

    Poor Bill! I wish the planet would weep for you down here. That way the tears would benefit the trees, flowers, and grass. Right now, the trees, flowers, and grass are DYING for you.

    Yes … back to the grind, working for the man.

    I dunno about using the pic as an avatar … Might scare the crap out of people when I add comments. But I’ll give it a think.
