Shit-faced? Then don’t comment!

I’ve been into the wine and traversing the Internet and realized that one of the worst things a person can do when they are in their cups is to comment on blogs. Shame compounds upon shame and there is just no end to it.
I realized that the more pie-eyed I am, the longer my comments get. This is because I write something then immediately try to take it back, apologize for it, because I am not so inebriated as to not realize how it could be taken the wrong way. And I am not so inebriated as not to realize that I shall regret it in the morning.
But being pissed up, rather than do the rational thing and delete the comment, I post it with a long apologia.
So, as mentioned, shame piles upon shame piles upon shame.
Who’s the idiot who developed this technology that allows us to disgrace ourselves publicly? Who got the bright idea that idiots should be allowed to express themselves on a global basis?
Fie on you, I say!
