Busy getting oriented and settled

Not much to say and not much time to say it today … I spent most of it working on documents and learning/relearning some Web stuff. Like Dreamweaver 8 and Photoshop Elements since I’ll need these for some of the things I hope to do.
It peed buckets of rain today but I didn’t mind. Back in Edmonton they had snow.
This motel I’m staying at till a home is located is so noir. It was made for a movie with someone like Robert Mitchum. I have to get out and get pictures of it.
Hopefully I’ll be able to toss together a better post soon and visit some other blogs and comment. But I’m also posting, when I can, on my other blog, Writelife. For whatever that’s worth.
(By the way … the image is of the highway, which I walked down the other day into the centre of town. A walk that took something like an hour and forty-five minutes. Yes, I took a cab home.)
