Looks like I’m a homeowner
December 19th, 2006 by Bill
This is the backyard of the place I just bought. Actually, I’m in the process - it’s not final yet. Inspection, blah blah … but the purchase agreement has been signed.
So last night I was standing outside thinking, “I’ve moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick from Edmonton, Alberta and I’ve just bought a house. What the hell am I doing?”
Truthfully, I’m very happy. The picture doesn’t do the yard justice. It’s enormous and it’s beautiful. Hopefully I’ll be able to take some better pictures soon.
In the meantime … It appears I own a house!

that yard looks awesome- early congrats!
Thanks! That picture shows maybe half of the yard. I a bit worried about lawnmowing and so on, but we’ll see how that goes next summer.
At least I’ll be able to get back to a more normal life soon and maybe even back to visiting blogs and commenting again.
Bill … Good for you!!! I think you might have to buy your first vehicle, a riding mower!!! It’s either that or you might have to consider taking up farming and buy a goat or two!

Well, there’s enough yard that I might be able to that - a mini-farm. Who knows? The university is close by so maybe I can get students to shovel snow in the winter (assuming we ever get any - still bare ground here).
Wow!!!!!!!!!!! Coziness abounds!
That’s fantastic. All I want is a house with a nice yard. Well done!
It’s beautiful! Congratulations!
Thanks, y’all. I hope to make it official today. We’ll see!
It looks great! Colour me green.
