Backyard in winter - window view

Yes, it’s been snowing in this part of the world too. In fact, it’s snowing (and blowing) as I type. I’ve already had my unplanned morning workout - shovelling heavy, wet snow.
This shot is my favourite, though you really can’t see the snow ghosts as the wind blows snow off the roof. They sweep across the yard like … well, spirits.
And you can’t hear the roar of the wind as it blows over and through the massive park one house over from me. It literally roars then dies out … just as it sweeps over my place. Really kinda cool.
Speaking of spirits and snow and generally odd things, this image is just plain weird.
(That’s not how it looked last night when I took the shot.)

Well, they’re nice every now and again but I wouldn’t want too many. I’m an really looking forward to spring.
