A lifestyle adjustment

To the right you will see “the pond.” It’s a man-made puddle that appears to be very popular with the birds in this area. It even has a fountain.
And yesterday, I got it to work!
(Full disclosure: I didn’t get it to work. Liz did. She reasoned, reasonably, that it might work best if it were plugged in. She did so, et voilà !)
Now I just need to jazz it up a bit, probably with some rocks, so it’s not just a pipe spitting water in the middle of a pond. And also to tweak the “music” of the splashing. If that sounds a bit anal, well, yeah. It is.
Anyway … as for the lifestyle modification: this is how I spent yesterday afternoon. Having been living in apartments and condos for something like the last 20 years, it’s been a very long time since I tackled this business.
(Does life get any more exciting than this?)
